Please email info@prairiepaws.org to fill out an application and arrange an appointment to meet the pet. Lisa is a sweet white domestic long-haired female with an estimated DOB of 08.03.2015. She arrived at the shelter as a stray and weighed 9.9 lbs at intake. Lisa's life completely changed when she was brought to the shelter. She was down on her luck for sure. She is even missing half of her tail. Now she doesn't have to wonder where she is going to find her next meal. She wants to go back to life as a house cat and deserves all the unconditional love she can get. Are you ready to adopt? Be Lisa's hero. Her adoption fee is $55.00 which includes a medical exam, sterilization surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, FeLV testing, and a microchip. All cats or kittens that are property of Prairie Paws Animal Shelter have been tested for FeLV. All cats and kittens are also up to date on their vaccines and have been or will be spayed or neutered before going to their new homes. Cats and kittens are also litter box trained and microchipped. Adopters get a free consultation at an area vet partner within 14 days of adoption. All information known about this cat has been included in this bio. Per state law, we sterilize all shelter pets before they begin their new fabulous lives with their new families. If you are interested in this animal, please email info@prairiepaws.org for an application. Our animals change daily, so please check our lists of adoptable dogs and adoptable cats frequently. Once you find an animal you’d like to adopt, the next steps are to complete an application and request a meet and greet with the foster. Make sure to be thorough and help us understand why you’re interested in that particular animal — and why your home is a great fit. Based on your answers we may even have a better fit for you. All major credit cards are accepted. Adoption fees vary. Taking your animal home: The State of Kansas requires that all cats and dogs must be sterilized (spayed/neutered) before going to their new homes. In most cases, animals will have already been sterilized before being placed on the adoption floor and you will be able to take your new companion home with you the day of adoption. However, if the animal is not yet sterilized, they will need to stay at the shelter and we will schedule the surgery on the next available date (usually within a week). All cats must go home in a carrier. Are you ready for more purrs in your life?
