All cats or kittens that are property of Prairie Paws Animal Shelter have been tested for FeLV. All cats and kittens are also up to date on their vaccines and have been or will be spayed or neutered before going to their new homes. Cats and kittens are also litter box trained and microchipped. Adopters get a free consultation at an area vet partner within 14 days of adoption. Per state law, we sterilize all shelter pets before they begin their new fabulous lives with their new families.
